The Bankstown dad in Western Sydney held the only division one winning entry for the Powerball draw on June 22.
His win is only surpassed in Australia by another Sydneysider; a nurse who won more than $107 million in January 2019.
There were also 10 division two winners from the draw who each pocketed $216,070.
The chance of winning the top prize in Powerball is one in more than 134 million.
The Bankstown dad told The Lott officials he was an occasional Powerball player and was looking forward to buying a new house.
"I will continue to work. But I need to process this a bit more. Maybe I won't in the future," he said.
